HOLLIS - Aidan Morrison didn't want his high school boys lacrosse career to end on Saturday, so the St. Thomas Aquinas senior made sure he had at least one more game.

Morrison dodged down the alley and scored the game-winning goal with 1:16 left as the fifth-seeded Saints beat No. 4 Hollis-Brookline, 5-4 in a Division II quarterfinal.

"Aidan came up clutch," St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Scott Singer said. "He’s stepped up tremendously over the past few weeks and has become a consistent force on the offensive end. His hard work and confidence are paying off in a big way."

The fifth-seeded Saints will face top-seeded Derryfield on Thursday in a semifinal at Bedford High School.
