CHICAGO — The Indiana Fever dominate the Chicago Sky for the second time this season as they win their second consecutive game 79-52.
The Fever also won their season opener against the Sky 93-58 on May 17.
It’s the second win out of two this season for the Fever in the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 15 points on 5-11 shooting. Three other players finished in double figures (Howard 13, McDonald 12, Boston 11). Lexie Hull added nine points and hit both of her two three point attempts.
The Fever have now held the Sky to their two lowest scoring games of the season (59, 52).
Caitlin Clark missed her fourth straight game as she continues to deal with a strained left quad. Her status is “day-to-day.”
