THE Kansas City Chiefs have a new offensive weapon lurking on their squad.

The Chiefs added Tyquan Thornton to their roster this offseason, and could turn him into a star.

Thornton was nothing short of an NFL Draft bust with the New England Patriots.

He was drafted with the 50th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Patriots, but never found his footing with the team.

In his rookie season, Thornton had 247 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

However, in 2023 he had just 91 yards and last season he only brought in 47 yards.

That lead to him being waived by the Patriots before the completion of his rookie contract.

The Chiefs added him to their practice squad though, and activated him for training camp.
