(WDHN)—After taking down Southern Soccer Academy 2-1 in their last matchup, the Dothan United Dragons were on the road this time, looking to defeat a team hungry for revenge.
To say the Dragons came out of the gate on fire would be an understatement, as Dothan would go up 2-0 before the 35-minute mark, thanks to a pair of goals from Santiago Hoyos and Jaden Strumeier
But the guys weren't done just yet; Dothan would go into the locker room at the half up 4-0, thanks to a penalty kick and another assisted goal.
After failing to secure an outright win against Southern Soccer Academy in their inaugural season, the Dragons have now claimed two straight victories, defeating Southern Soccer Academy 5-0.
The Dragons now improve to 5-1 on the year, and will be back in action Tuesday, June 10th,
