COLUMBUS — The Toledo Mud Hens lost a series for the first time since the third week of April, falling 2-1 to the Columbus Clippers on Saturday for their fourth defeat in five games this week.

After winning or tying six consecutive six-game series to soar up the International League standings, Toledo (34-28) has struggled this week, scoring just six total runs outside of Friday’s 8-3 win.
