ROCHESTER — The Duluth Huskies had an offensive breakout in the fourth inning on Saturday in Rochester, piling up 11 runs in a 15-4 victory over the Rochester Honkers.

The Huskies, who'd hit only one home run over their first 12 games, had three in one inning Saturday: a two-run homer by Michael Smith, followed by a solo shot from Esko native Noah Furcht, then a Trey Craig grand slam to finish the scoring. Duluth had seven hits in addition to three walks and a hit batsman.

That proved to be more than enough support for the Huskies pitching duo of Jackson Smith (five innings) and Ian Fisher (four). Smith earned the win, allowing three runs on seven hits.

On the offensive end, Lind had a big day, going 4-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. The Duluth native is now 11-for-24 in his last six games.
