DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - In Gary New Duluth, their new skatepark was jam-packed with skateboards, scooters, and more in celebration of its first summer in the Northland.

The first-ever Gary New Duluth SK8 Jam was held months after its creation as a way to kickflip into summer.

The Jam featured trick competitions and two live bands, ‘Moving Party’ and ‘Throw Me The Remote’.

The Rambler food truck was also in attendance.

The event, like the park, was open to all as GND Rec and Damage hosted the event to share the new space with everyone, young and old.
