COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Fisherman from across the Brazos Valley gathered at the George H. W. Bush Library Pond for a day of fishing, fun, and family.
The annual Family Fish Day is built to bring the community together in an American fashion, with a line, a hook, and a pond full of fish. Local families gather at the George H. W. Bush Library Pond, where city organizations work together for the perfect community-wide fishing day.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to come mingle with the people that we care for and we protect in a great way, where everybody’s happy. We get to see kids come out here and catch fish for the first time, and you get to see the joy on their faces. It’s just a great opportunity for us to rub elbows with the people we care most about,” explained Steve Brock,
