Jennifer Boeve spent little time transitioning from softball player to coach.

She spends even less time these days transitioning from one coaching gig to another.

Boeve has been an assistant on the Northwestern College softball team for two seasons after she finished up her playing career with the Red Raiders and is also head softball coach of the MOC-Floyd High School varsity squad.

"I pretty much go January to July (with softball)" Boeve said. "I love this though. I love being around the kids and I love being a part that moment where something clicks and they really start to get it.
