The Chicago Sky carried a 2-4 record into their second matchup of the 2025 season against the Indiana Fever. During opening weekend, the Sky suffered a 93-58 loss to the Fever on the road at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

On Saturday, the Sky lost by a large margin once again, as they fell 79-52. Making matters worse, star Fever guard Caitlin Clark did not play. She had a triple-double in the season opener.

Not a single Sky play scored in double-figures on Saturday, and the team as a while shot just 32.1% from the field. This loss illuminated some of Chicago's scoring issues this season.

Last season, despite the team finishing with a 13-27 record, guard Chennedy Carter was one of the top scorers in the WNBA at 17.5 points per game, and led Chicago in that category. She is now playing in Mexico
