WESTLAKE, Ohio –

OVI: I-90

Officers at 2:30 a.m. on May 24 spotted a car driving westbound on I-90 near Clague Road at 30 mph in a 60-mph zone.

Also drawing the officers’ attention was the fact that the car didn’t have a visible license plate, and the right front tire was flat, which allowed the rim to gouge the highway pavement.

Officers learned that the driver, a 26-year-old North Ridgeville man, had a suspended driver’s license and appeared to be intoxicated. Officers conducted field sobriety tests and arrested the driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating an unsafe vehicle, driving under suspension, and impeding traffic.
