WHEELING — Friendly City fashion fans came out to a sold-out runway show as a part of the first ever Wheeling Fashion Week Saturday evening, complete with a red carpet.

The show, sponsored by and held at Waterfront Hall, was the last in a series of events to celebrate Wheeling’s blooming fashion scene.

Local design firms and designers Payton’s Pretties, North Fork Jewelry Design, Two Times: Clothing and Collectibles, ALPHASTORE, House of Rouse, Rinnifus Rae Designs, Bebot, Vindeezy and Mia D’Amico broadcast their looks in the show, which also featured local models.

The runway show drew in fashionistas of all ages, from young children with their parents to older generations that have seen many a fashion trend come and go.
