Solihull Council is hoping to generate more than £200,00 by selling off a former parks depot and the site of a now-demolished Scout hut.

The ex-parks site, off Clopton Crescent in Kingshurst, extends to 1.2 acres and is listed with a guide price of £139,000-plus in the livestreamed auction, taking place on Thursday, July 10.

The site of the former Jean Linton Hall, off Arlescote Road, has a guide price of £95,000-plus.

It was used as a Scout hut from 1958 after the land was transferred to the council by the War Department in 1956 and leased by the 2nd Solihull Scouts Group, who renamed it Jean Linton Hall.

In 2022 the Scout Association surrendered the lease back to the council. The site, near Elm
