Look for dirt to start moving in July at the site of the new Christus Good Shepherd Cancer Center in Longview .

While the 35,500-square-foot building will be in the vicinity of existing Christus facilities on Hawkins Parkway, it will have an address of 131 Spring Hill Road, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Christus previously built part of an extension of Spring Hill Road during expansion of its facilities on Hawkins Parkway.

The project will cost more than $30 million considering construction, equipment, technology, interior design and more, said Christus spokesman Coleman Swierc.
