Reports of 'big cat' sightings in the UK are not uncommon, with over 15 incidents reported weekly. Occasionally, individuals manage to document these elusive creatures through photos or videos in the countryside.

Over the years, there have been witness accounts of black leopards, fawn-coated pumas, and lynx sightings across the nation. And many of them have been here in Gloucestershire over the years - including eight in Gloucestershire in 2024 .
