If you’ve not heard of Robert Endeacott, let me introduce you. A lifelong supporter of Leeds United , with an MA in screenwriting, the 60-year-old has a strong affiliation with the Whites.

Robert was first introduced to United by his father, a member of the Elland Road grounds staff for nearly 30 years, which encompassed the Don Revie era. In 2000, he walked the concourses his father used to frequent but with a different task in hand.

Along with a friend, armed with paintbrushes, Robert set about creating a mural of ‘18 of the best’ - which later turned into 19 after a revamp - inside the East Stand. After 60 hours of work, the flagship players of United’s history were portrayed onto the brick and mortar that used to vibrate due to the fan exaltation at their skills.
