Police have been called in after children hurled rocks at anglers. The anglers were targeted at Central Forest Park.

Staffordshire Police have just released details of the incident which unfolded at 4pm on Friday 23 May.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to Central Forest Park following reports of children throwing rocks at fishermen. Officers quickly went to the scene and spoke with the fishermen, who explained that children had been throwing rocks at their tent but had caused no damage. Our enquiries are ongoing."
