Sian Gibson, who has previously worked with Peter Kay on projects such as That Peter Kay Thing and Phoenix Nights, said she was close to abandoning her acting career before landing the role of Kayleigh in Car Share .
"I was working in a call centre in Chester when Peter sent me a script, asking what I thought of it," she revealed to Radio Times.
