Dame Prue Leith has spoken about her intentions to leave the Great British Bake Off , revealing that she was on the brink of exiting the entire Bake Off franchise.

It was only after a discussion with Love Productions that she realised she could step back from certain elements rather than departing altogether.

The Bake Off multiverse, which includes the celebrity edition, Junior Bake Off, and the Great American Baking Show, had been taking up much of Prue's time, leading her to consider quitting to enjoy a summer holiday for the first time in years.
