Donald Trump is set to deploy 2,000 National Guards in response to protests in Los Angeles over immigration enforcement.

Riots have broken out in certain neighbourhoods as federal agents clashed with protesters in the wake of immigration enforcement operations across the city. According to American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, hundreds of people – including children – have been detained after US Immigration and Customs enforcement (ICE) raided multiple workplaces. ‌
