The Red Arrows will be in the skies over North Staffordshire this afternoon. It comes as the crew leaves Liverpool Airport for the RAF Cosford Airshow in Shropshire and then returns to its RAF Waddington base in Lincolnshire.

The Red Arrows are expected to pass over Nantwich at 3.04pm this afternoon before heading over Woore, Blackbrook and Sandon. The return leg will take the Red Arrows over Penkridge, the Shugborough Estate, Hixon and Denstone.

Fans will be hoping that the Red Arrows make an appearance after yesterday's Stoke-on-Trent Lancaster Bomber flypast had to be cancelled due to adverse weather.
