President Donald Trump credited the National Guard on Sunday for settling the protests against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in California.

Trump issued a presidential memorandum Saturday night to send 2,000 National Guard troops to the Los Angeles area amid the demonstrations. Law enforcement has arrested protesters for unlawful assembly and assault on peace officers in some cases.
