JACKSON, MI -- The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are three of them.

These two girls, Tootsie and Sugar, came in together. They look to be what is called a traditional Bone Mouth Shar Pei mix.

They have the adorable small flap ears, short hair but no wrinkles. Tootsie and Sugar are just 1-year-old and are house trained, smart and obedient.

At just 20 pounds, they are a great smaller size. Tootsie is the golden colored pup and is the dominant one. Sugar is the lighter colored girl and is a bit more shy and reserved.

Neither of them are barkers or jumpers, just sweet girls who aim to please. They are not crazy about other dogs but definitely love one another.
