A Powerball player in Oregon won $1 million, just missing the $45 million jackpot, lottery officials say.

The ticket matched five winning numbers but not the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, June 7, the national Powerball site said.

Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $54 million, with a cash value of about $24.3 million, for the next drawing Monday, June 9, the site said.

The winning numbers were 31, 36, 43, 48 and 62, with a Powerball of 25, the Oregon Lottery site said. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

More than 375,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000, the lottery said.
