Leeds United defender Max Wober says he has been told by the club that he will be sold this summer and has no future at Elland Road. Wober arrived at Leeds two years ago after a move to bring the Salzburg player in to work with a familiar face in Jesse Marsch.

A £10m fee was paid but Marsch was soon gone and the 27-year-old Austrian has not really asserted his presence in the squad since that high-profile arrival.

The defender has struggled to push himself into Daniel Farke's thinking, even when injuries have hit Leeds at the back, with just 29 appearances in two and a half season with the Whites, after initially going out on loan straight after relegation from the top flight.
