SAN FRANCISCO—On Friday, June 6, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office announced that Jonathan Contreras, 33, was charged in connection to a shooting in the Tenderloin District. He was arraigned on June 5 and pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all allegations. His first appeared in court on June 2.
The District Attorney’s Office noted that Contreras is charged with discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle (PC 26100(c)), with an allegation that he personally and intentionally used a firearm causing great bodily injury (PC 12022.53(d).
He is also charged with one count of assault with a firearm (PC 245(a)(2)), with an allegation that he personally used a firearm and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury on the victim, and one count of discharge of a firearm at
