A 13-year-old boy is facing several charges after a Kitchener shooting.
Waterloo Regional Police, including members of the tactical unit, served a search warrant at a residence near Strasburg Road and Kingswood Drive in Kitchener and arrested the teen Saturday night.
Police have charged him in connection with an incident Thursday night near Monte Carlo Street and Victoria Street South, where a suspect approached a group of youths outside a residential complex and fired several shots into the ground before running away.
No one was hurt. Investigators believe it was a targeted incident.
