DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations are in full swing this weekend in downtown Dayton.
Thousands of people routinely attend Pride here, and some members of the community spoke with 2 NEWS about why the celebration matters to them.
“You feel loved for exactly who you are, accepted for exactly what you are. Nothing more, nothing less,” said Brandon Beck. “I'm here for all of the people that have been marginalized in any way, that have been made to feel less than or outside of the community that we have as humans.”
