As California continues to rebuild after the wildfires earlier this year, Apple’s latest survival drama immortalizes the deadliest fire in the state’s history.

In the first teaser for Paul Greengrass ‘ The Lost Bus , premiering this fall in select theaters and on Apple TV+ , Matthew McConaughey plays school bus driver Kevin McCay, who navigates infernal danger to rescue 23 stranded kids and their teacher Mary Ludwig (played by America Ferrera ) from the 2018 Camp Fire.

The film also stars Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson and Spencer Watson.
