The 2028 Olympics are just over three years away, but Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh is staying in top form.

After an incredible Olympic debut in Paris last year that saw her take home three Gold medals and a Silver, the 18-year-old McIntosh is continuing to add to her accolades. She was competing at the Canadian Swimming Trials on Saturday, where she captured yet another world record in the 400-metre freestyle.

McIntosh posted a time of 3:54.18, which shattered the previous record of 3:55.38, held by Australian Ariarne Titmus, by more than a second.

This is the second time that the Canadian has held this record. McIntosh previously held the world-best time in the 400-metre freestyle after posting a time of 3:56.08 at the 2023 Canadian Swimming Trials. That was short-lived, however,
