A coin expert has issued their advice over an "extremely rare" 50p coin being sold on eBay for nearly £80,000.

The King Charles III 2022 50p features four shields representing each country which makes up the UK, with the crown positioned in the middle.

On the flip side of the coin is an image of the King, with the eBay seller determining its worth at exactly £75,086.72.

The seller's description read: "First and foremost, 50% of the winning bid goes to charity, so please bid generously.
