Miley Cyrus was heckled at her new 'movie' screening by fans who wanted her to sing songs rather than see her discuss her new visual album film.
The Hannah Montana star's new self-directed project, Something Beautiful, was premiered at the Tribeca Festival as a visual album that accompanies her new record of the same name on Friday.
After the movie played, the sold-out event featured a discussion with Cyrus, her producer Panos Cosmatos, collaborator Jacob Bixenman and co-director Brendan Walter.
However, the talk was interrupted by disgruntled fans who had paid up to $800 (£591) a ticket demanding a concert.
"We thought this was a concert!" one attendee screamed out in fan-recorded footage shared online, adding: "We paid $800!"
Another audience member shouted, "Are you actually gonna sing?!"
According to Entertainment Weekly, Cyrus looked taken aback by the heckling before asking fans to start The Climb for her and then delivering a few verses from the song from 2009's Hannah Montana: The Movie.
