My name is Katie Wallace, and I am the proud new senator for Colorado’s 17th Senate District. I was raised in Lafayette and currently live in Longmont.
I was sworn into office with 47 days left in the legislative session. In a month and a half, I carried and passed multiple pieces of legislation through the Senate and to the governor’s desk that will positively benefit our community and Colorado. Representing my home district is truly the honor of my lifetime, and I am so glad to be getting work done for the people of my community.
