Lindale’s Ty McCoy showed his speed around the basepaths and the home team strung together two big innings as the Blue scored a 9-7 win over the Red in the 10th Annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star baseball game on Friday at the Tyler Legacy High School diamond.

The game was presented by CHRISTUS Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute. The all-stars played eight innings.

McCoy had a triple, double and single, along with an RBI and stolen base.

“This game is great to take part in and become friends and almost brothers in a couple of days,” said McCoy, who will play collegiately at Hardin-Simmons University. “God brought us together to do that. To be able to play in this game was super fun.”
