RENSSELAER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital District Transportation Authority opened a public historical exhibit at Joseph L. Bruno Rail Station on Wednesday. The exhibit was completed in partnership with the Hart Cluett Museum of Historic Rensselaer County.

Consisting of eight panels, the display explores 175 years of regional transportation. Visitors will be able to learn about the origins of independent trolley and bus operators, the rise and fall of the United Traction Company and the emergence of the CDTA in 1970. Other highlights include stories of labor strikes, student fare tokens and the creation of today's mobility hubs.
