HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Happy Sunday! We had some showers and light rain moving through central and eastern Nebraska this morning. Still have a few showers lingering, but should be out or the area later this afternoon. Winds are a bit breezy out of the northwest around 10-20 mph as a cold front moved through this morning. That will keep us cool today and still below average tomorrow, but temperatures do warm a bit into tomorrow afternoon. The cold front also brought back in some smoke from the Canadian wildfires, but we should see that clear out by tomorrow morning. Starting with tonight temperatures cool into the mid to upper 40’s in western Nebraska with low to mid 50’s for the rest of us. Skies clear out this evening and will stay mostly clear for the next few days. We warm up tomorrow
One more mild day tomorrow before above average temperatures return through next weekend
