LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Local law enforcement is investigating a man’s death after allegedly showing erratic behavior on a city street.

Police say they had gotten calls of a man running through traffic at about seven o’clock Saturday night in the 1500 block of Guadalupe Street. Some reports say he had gone into a business in that area, acting erratically, and allegedly clinging onto a person there.

When officers arrived, he ran back out into the middle of the street, falling to the ground. We’re told officers detained him for his own safety and for that of the people around him.

Medical personnel arrived and treated him with Narcan and other life saving measures. He was taken to Laredo Medical Center in critical condition, where he was later declared deceased.
