YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities are searching for information related to a crash that left a bicyclist dead in York County .

The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday on SC-55 near North Paraham Road east of Clover, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The bicyclist was struck by an unknown vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle drove off from the area, according to authorities.
