SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse police are investigating a series of shootings that occurred on June 8, resulting in multiple injuries and one fatality.
The first incident took place at 3:43 a.m. on Erie Boulevard West, where officers found a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital and is in stable condition. The exact location of this incident remains undetermined as the investigation continues.
Later, at approximately 1:06 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Onondaga Avenue. Officers discovered a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his lower back. He was also taken to Upstate University Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
