WASHINGTON D.C., DC — Demonstrations took place Sunday evening outside the White House, in the wake of ICE deportations taking place in Los Angeles and across the country.

A handful of protesters were outside the White House with signs calling on their elected officials and community members.

On Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), along with other federal agencies, conducted raids across Los Angeles, leading to widespread protests and tensions between local communities and federal authorities. President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles on Saturday. Two thousand National Guard troops were sent to help de-escalate the protests.
