Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell spoke to reporters Sunday as anti-ICE protests continued to ramp up in response to raids that took place on Friday. McDonnell said 10 protesters were arrested Sunday, and to expect more arrests to be made. He said authorities will use social media and videos to identify people breaking the law. Three officers sustained minor injuries. This news conference comes after President Trump deployed National Guard troops to the Los Angeles area. California Gov. Gavin Newsom condemned Trump's decision to send in the troops, as did Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
