Many New Mexico State athletes represented the Aggies proudly in Las Cruces, and could possibly earn a spot in the school's athletics Hall of Fame soon.

From players who helped NM State achieve a decorated men's basketball history, to current and former school record holders, to players who used the Aggies to embark on a professional career, there are many worthy of future consideration into the Hall of Fame.

Here are eight who could have a space in the concourse of the Pan American Center soon:

Pascal Siakam (Men's basketball)

Siakam's record of an NBA championship (possibly multiple soon), three All-Star honors and two All-NBA selections make him the best professional NM State basketball player ever, and he built a strong Aggie Hall of Fame case in Las Cruces.
