1JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Authorities are searching for a 10-year-old girl who was last seen Thursday evening at Newport Centre Mall, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Divine Anyanwu, of Jersey City, was spotted on surveillance footage around 7:42 p.m. walking toward Newport Parkway with an unidentified male, officials said.

The child is described as a Black female, approximately 5-foot-4 and 180 pounds, with short black hair. She was wearing a neon orange headband, white tank top, tie-dye shorts, and black-and-white sneakers at the time of her disappearance.
