A manhunt is underway after a fatal shooting near Las Vegas' famous Bellagio fountains, according to police.

On Sunday night, at around 10:40 p.m. local time, two people were killed in a shooting near the fountains, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, LVMPD.

The shooting stemmed from a conflict

"It is believed that the suspect and the victims knew each other and had previously engaged in conflict over social media prior to the shooting," police state in a press release posted to X.

The victims, whose identities have not been released, were pronounced dead at the scene.
