HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Today will be a warmer day than yesterday, but cool compared to the heat that will be building in for much of the rest of the forecast period.

Most of the area will have plenty of sunshine, but there may be a few more clouds over northern and eastern portions of Nebraska. Meanwhile, there will be some fairly noticeable winds out of the northwest at 10 to 20+ mph with some gusts that might get over 30 mph. Temperatures will warm up to between the mid 70s northeast and the mid 80s southwest. Tonight will be the last of the “cooler” temperatures for lows as lows dip back to the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s. Skies will be clear and winds will quickly die down this evening.
