The Packers are reportedly set to part ways with a defensive mainstay.
According to multiple reports, including ESPN and NFL Network , Green Bay plans to release star cornerback Jaire Alexander after seven seasons.
The expected move comes after two-straight injury filled seasons and some off-the-field tension including a bizarre incident involving a coin toss in 2023.
The Packers have not confirmed the decision publicly but have informed Alexander he will be release, ESPN reported.
Alexander, a 2-time Pro Bowler, appeared in just seven regular-season games each of the past two seasons and did not play after Nov. 17 in 2024.
