CARSON — Cal State Dominguez Hills President Thomas A. Parham has announced he plans to retire, effective Dec. 31.

Parham, 70, has served as president of the university since June 2018, providing leadership in challenging times and a bold vision for what the university can become, which during his tenure included improved academic outcomes, increased academic excellence, the launch of major capital projects, record-setting fundraising and multiple athletic championships.
