A 59-year-old man is dead after an apparent motorcycle crash in Crawford County early Saturday morning.

That crash happened in the 17000 block of State Highway 198 in Hayfield Township.

Pennsylvania State Police out of Meadville identified the man as David Miller of Saegertown Saturday afternoon.

According to state police, Miller was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning when he drove off the road into a ditch, flipping the vehicle before it came to rest in a nearby field.

Miller was apparently killed immediately.

Police went on to say that the crash wasn't witnessed by anyone, and that the crash wasn't discovered until several hours later, just before 7:00 a.m. At that point, the bike was cool to the touch, and overnight condensation
