The Nashville area saw 3,164 home closings in May, representing a decrease of 9 percent compared to the 3,509 closings in May 2024.
According to a Greater Nashville Realtors press release, the figure is an increase from the 2,963 closings in April and the 2,831 residential closings in March.

The GNR release notes the median price for a single-family home in May was $506,557, up from the May 2024 median price of $499,996. The single-family home median price in April was $500,000, in March was $490,000 and in February was $489,900.
The median price for a condominium in May was $349,250, a decrease compared to the $351,000 figure of May 2024 and slight dip from the $350,000 mark of April.
