LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - For the first time, the Binational Air Coalition brought together leaders, community members, and city officials from both sides of the border to talk about air quality and future planning.

In Laredo, the event was held at the UT Health Science Center, where residents gathered to share concerns and ideas. Later that evening, a similar meeting took place in Nuevo Laredo at the Estación Palabra auditorium.

The meeting was led by the Rio Grande International Study Center. The goal was to hear from the public, raise awareness, and start a plan to fix the problem.
